Lovely again. What a perfect vehicle a subway car is for sketching. I rarely get to the outside world, but had to go through an airport for the first time in many, many years at Christmas. It was shocking to see everyone, every last person, walking, sitting or standing engrossed in their own personal hand-held devise; playing music, talking, playing games, god knows what. I felt like I was on the wrong planet; how quickly the world changes.

Hi again, Clive! I'm just about to start my storyboarding this morning and noticed your comment. Thanks for stopping by.

Yeah, since I seemed to be at work 6, 7 days a week in my home office these days, I use a Wednesday night class as my self-imposed adventure into the social world of Toronto. Lots of 'wired' folks out there!

What made me think you might be at the computer and check back in..?

Happen to be working for a change myself, so that's when I browse a bit for blessed relief, instead of staring at a fixed object on the wall, like my charts, and drooling.

It's not work keeping me in the rustic village and hills, away from modern civilization and gadgets. It's the radio waves; everywhere, relentlessly, constantly interupting my thoughts with chatter.

You're right though, they never look up. Actually, the future looks good for sketching in public...

It must be fun all that boarding, but when it rains, it pours, I guess. At least you have the good sense to put your foot down and work no more than 7 days a week with an evening off to work on your own thing...

Hope all's well with you guys.

Really nice hands on him.

Your son's inking is great. Since I started stumbling around in the dark with a paintbrush, trying to hit the paper, I have newfound respect for those who actually know what they're doing!!

Hey Emma,

Thanks!

Stumble on girl! You definately have what it takes to ink. I think inking is in a way like throwing yourself at the art and hoping that you land on your feet dancing. It's sort of a mixed metaphor but it's all I got this morning.

Thanks for the compliments on Max's inks too. I'll pass them on. Cheers,

Arna
