Grange Park sketching...

Posted by Arna:
Here’s a quick sketch in a small Moleskine, using a Pigma brush and coloured in Photoshop. We meant to visit The AGO for the Emily Carr exhibit, but the gallery was closed Tuesday due to ongoing construction, so we wandered over to Grange Park.

Sorry the deleted comment was from me!

HEY! If you guys can wait until after next week, I'll go to the ROM with you guys if you haven't already gone. It's been a year since we last hooked up for a sketch day!

I am really liking these quick sketches you and John have been doing lately. Lively and loose with all the information one needs.

I was thinking about picking up some of those small moleskines too but haven't yet. Did you see the one they hae for storyboarding? Not sure if they are really worth it.

Hi Mike! Thanks for the note. A ROM sketchday sounds good. Let's do it! The week after next might work...

Not crazy about the storyboard moleskine... seems like overkill with the rounded TV format panels. I can draw a rectangle without any help as I'm sure you can too. :) The pocket sized ones are very handy though.

Sorry, I meant that the storyboard sketchbooks didn't seemed worth it. The Pocket Sized ones in general seem like a great idea.

By the way, if the week of the 28th doesn't work for you, I'm okay with the couple of weeks after too. I shall call Mr. Kozjan too to see if he'd like to come with.
