Broken Glass
posted by Arna:
We stumbled on this (Well, not actually! It's a figure of speech...thanks Clive :)) when walking in our neighbourhood last summer. Michelle says it looks like a fish, and I agree:

I'm still trying to figure out the black area.. what's that?
This broken car window was lying on a sidewalk, beside a car, presumably the night after someoonme smashed in the car window. I don't remember the car colour... the black may be a combo of the reflection of the car and reflection of me as I blocked the sun in order to take the picture.
superb image, goes to show what you can find when you actually LOOK at the world around you. I will now be scurrying around bins, tramps and public toilets just to find a similar picture...
very cool photo!! I was going to ask you what it is ... but someone already ask the question and you answer it already!! Broken car window could be quite intriging ... though ... wouldn't be fun for the car owner ...
Greetings Marcus! Your stuff is totally amazing. Now that we've found your blog we'll add you to our links list. Thanks also for your nice note on our blog.
Hey, thanks for the visit, drop by any time. As for this pic, hmmm, not seein' the fish (well, kindo', if I squint), but I DO see a face. At any rate, it's (somehow) a cool photo, after all, it sparked discussion.

Cheers, Ariel! Thanks for that hard question! :)
Great texture and colours.
beautiful photo! I need to carry my camera around with me more. The other photos previously posted are very nice too.

I hope that was stumbling on it metaphorically. Very interesting.

This one and the snail really caught my eye. Coolness!
You seem like modern day sleuths with that camera. In this case, did you find any DNA to pin it on anyway and solve the mystery of the "who dun it?".
In reverse order:
Smook, no did not have our 'sleuthing kit' with us that day. :)
Grant: Glad you like. We really like your stuff too.
Alina: Yeah not great for the car owner. It's such a quiet street too. An unusual occurrence...
Clive: Yup, it's a metaphor, thanks for catching that. No hurt tootsies. Cheers to you and S/L!
Richard: We'll check your blog for similar images!
Dan: Thanks! We very much appreciate the stuff on your blog and are honoured to you comment.
Goran: Thanks! Love the stuff you've been posting lately... we're due to visit again soon...
Thanks everybody!
Interesting blog you guys!
