We celebrated our twentieth wedding anniversary last week! This is the image on the front of a card I made for John. It's a brush marker painting of our cats, Jasper and Kiki, in very familiar poses. John loved the card and suggested that I post it. So here it is...

I like the stylization and how even though one is pink and the other is a lump of a cat, I can look at them and go, 'aaaah, I know cats like that!'

Jenny, what a lovely surprise! Getting to know a person over the bloggisphere is indeed a treat. Yes, if I had some land I'd surround myself with horses, dogs, cats, goats, and any other sundry creatures. Here in the city we keep our animal household to two wonderful cats at the moment. I always had a dog as a kid but don't feel it's fair to live with dogs when you can't devote the time to running around with them. Thanks so much for your continued articulate and well-informed posts on animation.
