Randomness...

Posted by Arna.

Today kids were practicing their skateboard moves on our street. I love the sound of the board hitting the pavement.

In an unrelated note:
This one is Jane, of the Peter Pan sequel 1998, from a scrap panel...

Girl, sketched last winter...

Watercolour of Tink, our first cat. Doing what cats do...

I really like that one of the girl. Drawings of peoples' backs are wonderful when done well, because the posture communicates so much and without the face to look to, that's what you pay attention to.

I thought the watercolor was digital! The white on the cat looks almost erased off. Beautiful!

Hey guys thnx for visiting. I don't know about the new version of Open Canvas cause I use only the freeware 1.1 72b version.
This version is great cause you can paint or draw up to 4 people through network (realtime) on the same canvas.
It's really awesome. You should check it out.

Cheers!

Nice Arna. The girl with her back facing us is my fave. When we get together, I may ask for some watercolour advice; I would love to give it a try.

Hey Emma! That's funny that you thought the watercolour was digital. I'm not so great with the digital tools yet. Need to practice!

Goro, Thanks for the info on Open Canvas. Sounds intreguing.

Smook, ask away... but I think ya got the hang of it already, judging from the work you post.

Yacin, sweet of you to comment. I tried to capture the expression~ Jane was missing her own home and furious with the lost boys. Thank you.

Lubomir, Ditto what I said to Yacin.~Cheers!

Clio, thanks. Yup, leggings in winter and no hats. Brave indeed. We see it around here a fair bit.

Hello Team!I want to thank your kind words on PAPELUSTRO!None of the collage is digital.Scissor, two hands, lots of fashion magazines and that's all.I made a silly rule for myself also: no ruler and no pencil are tobe used I must measure everything only with my eyes. It's absolut freedom.I started doing it for fun but now I'm addicted!Eehhehe!!!Your drawing is fabulous.

Mauricio, Much thanks. Your dreamy multi faceted collages are a treat.

Clive, I thought that this one is a bit overworked. But I like it still. Thanks.:)

Kristian, How sweet to favour the cat behaviour! Thanks.

Evan, 'Howdee' to you!! Glad to see the very diverse work on your blog. Good stuff. Say 'Hi' back to Charlie for us too. Ruby Gloom is a cool show. We're both doing some work on it as well.
